In Lviv Tours is a unique Digital Tourism project founded by Pete Gr on July 10th, 2023, two weeks after his friend Viktor Petrov was killed in combat. In Lviv Tours is a tribute to the incredible work done by Viktor to improve the lives of many people in Lviv and elsewhere in Ukraine.

Pete has been working in digital tourism and event ticketing for many years on projects that educate travellers about art history and archaeology.
His earliest tourism websites were Pagan Tours Rome and Etruscan Tours Rome in the mid-2000s, at which time his Rome football tickets website became popular by exploring football culture in Rome through match reviews and interviews.
Anzio Tours was another tourism initiative founded by Pete, as he lived in the Anzio beachhead area between 2004 - 2005 (Villa Claudia). Tours explored the battlefields and visited Museo dello Sbarco di Anzio.
In 2001 - 2002 Pete published a website about his electronic music activities since 1993 - 1994. By the late 1990s he was digitizing and publishing music, almost a decade before Spotify existed.
In 2013, after more than a decade in Rome, Pete moved to Lviv. His Ukrainian projects have come to include Lviv Holocaust research and music production. He founded 4Ukraine and warned about russian expansionism many years before February 24th, 2022 and the current incarnation of the domain.
These projects, and the extra responsibility of managing tours in Rome, Italy, meant that a Lviv tours website would be delayed, and that is exactly how things played out.
Early websites offering guided Lviv tours were published in 2016 and 2018, but they were rather generic with no connection to war or our veterans.
In 2019, it became clear through friends and acquaintances that Ukrainian soldiers were coming home from the front facing civilian life with no economic support and no counselling of any kind.
In February 2022, we were invaded by russia and the Lviv tours project was temporarily shelved. In July 2023, In Lviv Tours was founded to help veterans of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and honour the life of fallen defender of Ukraine, Viktor Petrov.
